BUANTV (A Businessuan TV Station) Debuts Promenade Shops
The Promenade at Coconut Creek is a 23 acre open-air, upscale shopping center in Coconut Creek. BUANTV, an online TV station specializing in businesses, is undergoing a project to interview each and every store within the mall. Coined “The South Florida Mall Project" by BUANTV producers, the show revolves around Julia O, a gregarious TV anchor who samples products and services offered by each business within the shopping center.
“This is a different type of show because I am operating in the role of both reporter and consumer,” says Julia who started working with BUANTV.COM as a writer. “I speak with the business owner and taste the service and/or product he or she has to offer. In the case of Mama Noodle (an Asian Fusion restaurant) Mike (the chef and owner) cooked up at least three of his best dishes and I sampled the food right there with customers watching."
"If I like it, I'll tell you (the audience). If I don't it, I'll tell you. I'm not a salesperson. First and foremost I am a reporter interested in trying out products and services for customers and giving them honest feedback."
Three stores have been interviewed and include Mama Noodle (a restaurant that serves up an exotic blend of Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine), Allegria (an all natural cupcake and frozen yogurt shop), and Cold Stone Creamery (a traditional ice cream shop). Footage will be available within the next several days.
